Registration Open for the 10th JADPRO Live, an Educational Conference for Oncology Advanced Practitioners

Published by Annie Yueh One year ago

JADPRO Live, the leading educational conference for oncology advanced practitioners (APs), returns in person this year to Aurora, Colorado, from October 20 through 23, 2022. With more than 1,500 attendees in 2019, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and advanced degree nurses, JADPRO Live has become the must-attend event of the year for oncology providers to interpret and apply best available evidence in oncology and hematology, exchange knowledge and clinical experiences, and improve care for their patients with cancer.

“As the challenges of caring for patients with cancer increase, the roles of the advanced practitioner have become even more important,” said Jennifer S. Webster, MN, MPH, RN, AOCNS, NPD-BC, of Georgia Cancer Specialists affiliated with Northside Hospital Cancer Institute and Conference Chair of JADPRO Live 2022. “This conference provides not only updates on cutting-edge therapies but also a chance to explore more nuanced topics such as specialty care of the adolescent and young adult and managing cancer pain during the opioid epidemic.”

The theme of this year’s meeting is “Reaching the Peak of Practice,” and reflects the value of APs practicing at the top of their license in order to meet growing patient care needs. This conference marks the tenth JADPRO Live, which has grown exponentially since its inception.

Along with triple-certified educational sessions, there will be ample networking opportunities at peer roundtables, industry resources in the Exhibit Hall, and a Poster Hall showcasing clinical posters, industry encore posters, and—new this year—patient perspective posters. On-demand sessions will be available shortly after the conference concludes and will be accessible until the end of the year.

JADPRO Live is inspired by the Journal of the Advanced Practitioner in Oncology (JADPRO), the first peer-reviewed journal written by and for oncology and hematology advanced practitioners. JADPRO Live is held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Advanced Practitioner.

Society for Hematology and Oncology (APSHO), a society of more than 3,500 specialized clinicians who are on the front lines of caring for patients with cancer.
